How do I replace my Purple card?

Steps to replace your physical or virtual Purple card, and what happens after.

If your card is lost, stolen, or damaged, you can request a replacement directly from Purple. You can replace both your physical card and your virtual card.

Replace your physical card

  1. Open the Purple app or sign in at withpurple.com.

  2. Go to the Card tab.

  3. Select Replace Card under your physical card details.

  4. Confirm the request.

    • Your current physical card will be terminated and no longer work.

    • A new card will be printed and shipped to your mailing address.

Replace your virtual card

  1. Open the Purple app or sign in at withpurple.com.

  2. Go to the Card tab.

  3. Select Replace Card under your virtual card details.

  4. Confirm the request.

    • Your current virtual card will be terminated immediately.

    • A brand-new virtual card will be generated and available right away for use online or in your mobile wallet.

Good to know

  • Replacing your card does not affect your account or balance.

  • For your protection, terminated cards cannot be reactivated.

  • If you use your physical card in a mobile wallet (like Apple Pay or Google Pay), you’ll need to re-add the new card once it arrives.
